Dr. Opondo joins Georgia Arrhythmia Consultants as a Cardiac Electrophysiology, Dr. Opondo completed her Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center, Cardiology Fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicicne, Internal Medicine Residency at Texan Presbyterian Hospital and is a graduate of Michigan State University School of Medicicne. Dr Opondo holds membership with the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society. Dr Opondo has published research in areas of atrial fibrillation, heart failure prevention and cardiovascular physiology. She is a recipient of the prestigious NIH/NIA Supplemental Research Award. She voluteers with the America Heart Association as a Student Mentor to encourage young adults to pursue careers in science and medicine.
