We are never too far away from you.....
GACRI physicians, providers and staff are committed to ensuring that our patients, especially those in rural and underserved areas have access to advanced cardiac and arrhythmia services.
Georgia Arrhythmia Consultants and Research Institute's COVID-19 Plan of Care.GACRI is taking measures to protect our patients and staff. In addition to general precautions, hand sanitizing and additional cleaning, we will practice recommendations from the CDC. We will limit office schedules and request that you reschedule your appointment should you have a fever. There is no fee for rescheduling your visit. Prior to checking in, patients will be screened for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Patients must wear a mask to their appointment. We will limit the number of persons in the waiting room. Please do not bring children to your appointment and, if possible, come alone. Rooms are sanitized after each visit and your care team will be wearing masks. We offer appointments by telehealth which you can do from the convenience of your home. This is an excellent way to receive care and reduce your risk for disease transmission.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest Research and EducationSudden Cardiac Arrest Research and Education 5K (S.C.A.R.E.) is in it's 7th year!
To date we have donated over 40 Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) to local community organizations. We have provided community CPR and BLS training as well. As you may know, Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the number one cause of death in the U.S. More than 350,000 people a year suffer SCA with less than 5% survival rate. Early defibrillation is crucial to increase the survival percentages. The goal of the S.C.A.R.E. 5K is to promote community awareness of SCA and provide education on prevention. We are saving lives!

I was scared and didn't know what to do. Thank goodness for Georgia Arrhythmia Consultants, they were able to diagnose my heart condition and treat me appropriately. I feel like a new woman. Now I know I am finally getting better!

My very first visit, I felt comfortable with the staff and appreciated the knowledge base of the device technicians. I felt like I was in good hands.

Dear GAC: Who would consider being in a doctor's office an exceptional birthday? Yet it certainly has been for me. Because of the excellent care you are providing for me, my report was a celebration in itself. 'Thank you' seems so inadequate but my vocabulary doesn't know how to express my heartfelt thanks…
